Lead Foil Tapes (LF-5A and LF-5R) are highly malleable, pure lead foil tapes designed for precision masking, radiation shielding, and balancing applications. Constructed with 5 mil pure lead foil and available with either an aggressive acrylic adhesive (LF-5A) or a strong rubber adhesive (LF-5R), these tapes conform easily to irregular, curved, and intricate surfaces.

LF-5A offers excellent weather, heat, and solvent resistance, making it ideal for x-ray masking, radiation barriers, electroplating, and decorative leaded windows. LF-5R delivers superior adhesion to metals, glass, films, and papers, and is commonly used for electroplating masking, golf club weighting, weight balancing, and EMI/RFI shielding.

Both tapes can be die-cut into custom shapes and meet Federal Specification HH-T-0029A, Amendment 2, ensuring reliability and performance for specialized industrial, scientific, and artistic applications.
