MYP-36OS Polyester Tape is a high-performance brown/rust-colored polyester tape specifically designed for clean splicing, high-temp masking, and leader card bonding. Featuring a 2 mil polyester film backing and a 1.8 mil residue-free silicone adhesive, this tape delivers exceptional adhesion, superior chemical resistance, and clean removability, even in demanding thermal and chemical environments.
It is widely recognized as one of the cleanest and strongest splicing tapes available, used extensively for photo film-to-leader bonding, powder coating masking, and splicing siliconized papers, films, and non-woven materials. With a total thickness of 3.8 mils, 42 oz/in peel adhesion, 44 lbs/in tensile strength, and 6.0 kV dielectric strength, it operates reliably between -100ºF and 350ºF, and withstands up to 437°F (225°C) for 45 minutes.
