MYP-571PS Polyester Tape is a high-performance pink polyester splicing tape designed for bonding to silicone-coated surfaces and performing in acid/caustic chemical environments. Constructed with a 1 mil translucent polyester film and 1.5 mil of cured silicone adhesive, this tape provides quick tack, residue-free removal, and strong bonding, even on challenging substrates.
This tape is a go-to solution for splicing silicone-treated papers, films, and non-woven materials, as well as for protecting flexible circuits during processing. It also functions as a chemical-resistant maskant on panels subjected to mild acid or caustic etching and plating baths.
With a total thickness of 2.5 mils, adhesion to SST of 33 oz/in, tensile strength of 25 lbs/in, and temperature resistance up to 220°C (428°F) for 30 minutes, MYP-571PS ensures precise, reliable performance in critical splicing and masking applications.
