Skived PTFE Film Tapes are premium-grade, high-performance tapes made from pure skived polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and coated with a high-temperature silicone adhesive. These tapes offer exceptional heat resistance, electrical insulation, low friction, and superior release properties, making them suitable for both electrical and mechanical applications.
Ideal for harness wrapping, coil separation, transformer insulation, slot lining, and roll protection in extrusion, PTFE tape conforms well to irregular surfaces and tight bends due to its high elongation. In mechanical environments, it’s frequently used in heat sealing equipment, chute liners, pressure pads, guide rails, mold release, and anti-friction components.
TFES-2HD is a high-density, tensilized skived PTFE tape with enhanced tensile strength, reduced elongation, and higher dielectric strength, specially engineered for demanding electrical insulation and extrusion roll protectionapplications. All versions meet Spec AA-59474 Type I (formerly MIL-I-23594C Type I) standards.
